I really enjoyed working with the owner on the materials / finishes / interior design including the outdoor areas.  This house I brought in a number of very traditional details from Italy

This house has a challenging site and local jurisdiction review but house and landscape fit the site so well that it made the difficult job actually easy since everyone fell in love with the initial design.

This is my Parents 2nd Custom House (see Haley #1 for their first house I designed). I was the Architect with my mother the Interior Designer and my Father the Builder

This is a special (2nd house) project designed to house us (the kids and my sister's family) in the detached bungalows that are connected via breezeway to the main house.   It is a true resort house with a great deal of love and craftsmanship!

The realtor who sold the property to the Dinstells mentioned that an Architect just bought the property next door (we were neighbors for our first house - found under Houzz Projects = Haley 3)

I was the Architect and helped coordinate with various sub-contractors.   I also co-designed the project with various consultants including Interior and Landscape Design (+our house concurrently being built next door)

This project I had to put professional ethics above my personal needs for my new house concurrently built next door.   I originally wanted a Modern House and the Dinstell's wanted a French Country but I knew that they would clash next to each other so I redesigned our house to be a Contemporary Craftsman style.

Great attention was used to come up with creative ceiling and stair designs.   The right combination of exterior materials including the in-door / out-door flow worked really well.

I was the Architect and Owner and directed all aspects of design and construction

This was our personal + Impluvium's first personal Custom Home / Office.   The design is actually a compromise between traditional and modern.   We wanted to do a modern but our neighbor (another project of mine = Dinstell Residence) wanted to a French Country but I knew both styles would clash next to each other professionally - so we re-designed it as a Contemporary Craftsman with a Modern Interior.

This project was a challenge with the complexities of the sloping lot and the indoor-outdoor living.  Pool has a built-in Bar and the Master has an indoor-outdoor shower with privacy into the courtyard.

The owner / builder wanted to create a home / office that would set the standard for all his houses locally and we added special details like the groin-vault gallery with Corinthian columns.

This is a special (1st house) project designed to share the vernacular rural language of the area (a Barn Shape).  A lot of love / craftsmanship / attention to detail / etc.... was poured into this house!
